SnapBurst is a photo booth app that captures, edits, and stores your photo strips. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using SnapBurst you agree to the practices described here.
What we collect
When you create an account we store your email address and a display name. When you capture a photo strip we store the images you generate, the filter and frame you chose, and the date of the session. Strips you choose to save are kept in your private gallery, which only you (and our admins) can see.
Camera access
SnapBurst requests access to your device camera so it can capture your four-shot strip. The camera stream is processed entirely in your browser — the frames are read, turned into images, and assembled into a strip on your device before anything is uploaded. We never turn your camera on without you pressing the capture button.
Background removal
Our background removal tool runs in your browser using an on-device model. The photo you are editing is processed locally; it is not sent to a third-party server for isolation.
How we use your data
We use your email to authenticate you, to send service messages about your subscription, and to respond when you contact us. We use your saved strips to display your gallery. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your photos to train any model.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by our payment provider, Base44 Payments (powered by Wix). We receive confirmation that your subscription is active so we can unlock the booth, but we do not store your full card details — those are handled entirely by the payment provider.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and saved strips for as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, your saved strips remain in your gallery but the booth is locked until you resubscribe. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page, which permanently removes your strips and personal data.
Your rights
You can view, export, and delete your data. To export your strips, open the gallery and save the images you want. To delete everything, use the delete-account option in your Account settings, or contact us and we will remove your data within 30 days.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
SnapBurst is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will note the updated date below and, where a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email.
